I began wedding photography in 1988 on 35mm film and medium format, the standard wedding equipment of the time. Although technology has drastically changed with the arrival of digital photography the experience I gained in those early years has helped me to develop a style that is dynamic and focused on the personalities of the bride and groom.
With each wedding I am looking for all the elements to combine to give the essence of the day, the emotions of the couple and the reactions of the family. The little details prepared beforehand to add to the special occasion. Environmental qualities of the location and venues and how the natural light plays its part on the setting.
Every wedding is different, and the expectations of couple are different. That’s why I view each wedding as a new adventure to create the final album that will surpass those expectations.
From your initial contact I will send you an example of how I prepare the photography plan. This is a list that starts with the bride and bridesmaids on the morning of the wedding and ends with the final bride and groom portrait against the sunset at the evening location.
No matter how big or small you’re planning your wedding we can talk through this plan at our first meeting to decide what will work best for you.
